How to use Oklahoma City Parade of Homes awards

Compare award-winning projects by year, category and address.

The Fall 2026 tour has concluded

COHBA’s official Fall Parade page lists September 25–27 and October 2–4, 2026. Its guide, map and awards remain useful research sources after the in-person event. Check the association for a future event schedule.

The tour spans communities across the Oklahoma City area. A participating home is not necessarily an award winner, and a featured community or sponsor designation does not establish a judged result.

Read the category and the project together

COHBA publishes separate categories for curb appeal, floor plan, interior finishes, outdoor living and decoration, plus Best Overall within price groups. The Fall 2026 Overall table was visually checked against the issuer-hosted image for this edition.

Keep the company, address, category, year and issuer together. The price category describes the submitted home’s competition group, not the builder’s current starting price or a verified budget for every future client.

Use verified results as a starting point

The table names Home Creations in Tuttle, Homes by Taber in Choctaw, two Landmark homes in Edmond and Norman, and Authentic, McCaleb and Infinity projects in Edmond. Other award recipients remain in the research queue until their company profiles are complete.

The directory attaches seven Best Overall project awards to six of the researched firms. The broader table contains eleven rows. This pass does not claim to have transcribed every category-specific award.

Follow with current project checks

An award recognizes an entry under a particular program. It does not verify today’s legal entity status, municipal registration, insurance, available capacity or performance on every project.

Ask to review work relevant to your own plan and site. Discuss who will supervise construction, which subcontractors and consultants are involved, and how changes and warranty issues will be handled.

Use the same comparison questions

Bring a short list of your requirements to a model visit or builder meeting. Separate design ideas from commitments in the contract, and identify the exact features included in the offer.

  • Which parts of the displayed home are upgrades?
  • Can the plan change, and which changes are permitted in this community?
  • Is the lot included, and what site costs remain?
  • Which permit office and contractor registration apply?
  • Who owns the design and provides the written warranty?
